2018 Reading Goals

Hi there! This is going to be a quick post of which I'll share 5 reading goals that I'm hoping to accomplish this year as well as 6 books/series that I'm quite excited to read. So without further ado, here we go. 5 Reading Goals Read 52 books This is the same amount of books that I tried to read last year. It's doable and I'm pretty sure that I can pass this easily. Read 40 paperbacks that I owned before 2018 This should not come as a surprise, considering the fact that currently I owned almost 200 unread books.  Read 6 series Even though I love standalones, there are just something fun about reading series, either dualogy, trilogy, or even more. Read 25.000 pages This is the same amount of pages that I tried to read last year. And even though there's struggle at the end of last year, I'm pretty sure I can accomplish it this year. Read 35 new-to-me authors It's doable and to be honest I'm perfectly fine if I can't accomplish it this year

This is a pretty long overdue post because it's already January 28th when I started to write this post. But I still wanted to share my favorite books/series of 2017 as well as my reading goals progress. So without further ado, here we go: 2017 Favorite Books/Series Here are my 2017 favorite books/series with the order of when I read them: 1. Tere Liye - Tentang Kamu This is the first Tere Liye's book that I've read and I fell in love with it almost immediately. I enjoy the writing style, the story, almost everything in this book. I love it so much and it is definitely one of my favorite books of all time.  2. Matthew Quick - The Silver Linings Playbook This is a book that taught me to have more empathy towards other people in my life. It taught me to go easy and more understanding with other people's issues. Just because I didn't experience it doesn't mean that it's not real. I like this book for being raw and honest about mental illn

September 2017 Wrap Up

September.. is a very interesting month for me. I started this month with so much joy because my family and I went on a vacation on my birthday. And then it started to went downhill until the end of the month where there's just so many things to do and not enough time to do it. Oh, and I also (for the first time) unable to go to Big Bad Wolf. It was a bit frustrating at first because I really wanted to go but the situation was just not right for me. So I ended up buying books from the jastip (I don't know what they're called, it's like personal shopper but specifically for discounted items) on Instagram. And.. my life was pretty much okay ever since then. In September, I also participate on  @hanabookreview and  @dblueholics 's #bbwreadathon2017. So basically on September I only read books that I bought on the previous BBW event. And it resulted in me only picking up 3 books this month. And here they are: 1. Rainbow Rowell - Eleanor & Park This is my se
