2018 Reading Goals

Hi there! This is going to be a quick post of which I'll share 5 reading goals that I'm hoping to accomplish this year as well as 6 books/series that I'm quite excited to read. So without further ado, here we go. 5 Reading Goals Read 52 books This is the same amount of books that I tried to read last year. It's doable and I'm pretty sure that I can pass this easily. Read 40 paperbacks that I owned before 2018 This should not come as a surprise, considering the fact that currently I owned almost 200 unread books.  Read 6 series Even though I love standalones, there are just something fun about reading series, either dualogy, trilogy, or even more. Read 25.000 pages This is the same amount of pages that I tried to read last year. And even though there's struggle at the end of last year, I'm pretty sure I can accomplish it this year. Read 35 new-to-me authors It's doable and to be honest I'm perfectly fine if I can't accomplish it this year

This is a pretty long overdue post because it's already January 28th when I started to write this post. But I still wanted to share my favorite books/series of 2017 as well as my reading goals progress. So without further ado, here we go: 2017 Favorite Books/Series Here are my 2017 favorite books/series with the order of when I read them: 1. Tere Liye - Tentang Kamu This is the first Tere Liye's book that I've read and I fell in love with it almost immediately. I enjoy the writing style, the story, almost everything in this book. I love it so much and it is definitely one of my favorite books of all time.  2. Matthew Quick - The Silver Linings Playbook This is a book that taught me to have more empathy towards other people in my life. It taught me to go easy and more understanding with other people's issues. Just because I didn't experience it doesn't mean that it's not real. I like this book for being raw and honest about mental illn

And welcome 2018, may you bring new hope and energy for the upcoming year :D Last December was a pretty hectic, happy, sad, crazy, and frustrating month. So many things happened, both good and bad for me. It's not an easy month, but finally it passed. December 2017 Book Haul I have been saving some money for December because there's a Harbolnas event coming up and I know I'm going to spend a lot of money because of the outrageous deals (check out my December 2016 as well as January 2017 posts for proof ;) ). And I was right, because Gramedia.com held another sweet Harbolnas deals, complete with free shipping, so I can buy as many books as I desired and able to. So here it is, my still-not-complete books that I acquired on December 2017:   Gramedia.com (before Harbolnas): 1. Disney Scary Storybook Collection Gramedia.com (Harbolnas part 1): 1. Pramoedya Ananta Toer - Anak Semua Ba
